About Our Team

Mark DeJohn is a Masters Certified Full-Body Certified Instructor of ART, including Upper Extremity, Lower Extremity, Spine, Long Nerve Tract Release, ART Complex Protocols, and Biomechanics. I use my comprehensive knowledge and technique on clients to get them pain free and active again.
"The efficiency of ART treatment gets results in half the amount of visits than if you were to just use deep-tissue massage. And, you don't have the extreme pain with ART that sometimes comes with treating chronic injuries using only deep-tissue massage," says Mark.
"ART is the essential missing link between an effective chiropractic treatment and a massage. It ties the repairing the soft tissues with the chiropractic adjustment. There is a huge need for this type of treatment in Central Oregon, especially among the large community of serious and professional athletes here in Bend."
Mark takes a great deal of pride in his work and approaches each client with compassion. He strives to reduce the pain in people's lives in the most efficient way possible with the least amount of pain.
Mark is an avid athlete who brings the understanding of many sports and activities to his practice. Not everyone who practices ART is an active athlete. To Mark, it's about more than just fixing the problem—it's about understanding how the problem started in the first place. Mark takes the time to educate his patients on their injury so they can avoid getting hurt in the future and can understand how to heal faster.
Mark has worked with both professional and amateur athletes, including triathletes, golfers, rock climbers, road and mountain bikers of all levels, and Olympic athletes. He has treated a multitude of symptoms and diagnoses, achieving the results demanded by the athletic community. Mark works with family and specialized doctors, chiropractors, acupuncturists, physical therapists and personal trainers to deliver a more integrative approach and ensure that his clients get the more comprehensive treatment they want and need.
Mark strives to bring the best soft-tissue care to his clients by making sure that he is ever current in cutting-edge techniques and has the newest knowledge available. An athlete himself participating in road and mountain biking, hiking, and Nordic skiing.
